#5: HEY JOSH!
Dear Josh,
A fatherโs pain will not always show. I try to be busy for your siblings and Mommy because they are who is left here, and I am 100% sure that you are helping me guide them.
I am better now, but sometimes I still wake up in the middle of the night and think about my questions of โwhat-ifs.โ I saw you recover and get stronger each day, and you just donโt know how happy I was that the reset was given to you.
Before you were given the discharge notice, I told Mommy that I would make sure to talk to you and trust you again so you could enjoy each day of your life. We had our longest talk in history from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM with no interruptions. Even though you wanted to sleep, you said you were enjoying every moment talking to me, and you wished we had done it earlier. We were both celebrating in our hearts.
I thought it was the beginning, but God had other plans, and in a few days, you left us. But I truly know that you are very happy after everything that happened during that time.
Please look after us always. I miss you so much every day.
I love you, Josh.
